Ya that's something I would like to do also.

OPG has a 4 window kit for $1000

    http://www.opgi.com/p/glass/1556/89/CH27059.html

And a two window for $520

    http://www.opgi.com/p/glass/1557/89/CH27060.html

It says it has a lifetime warrenty.

That one is just for the rear window with no switchs included.

Doesn't sound like a good deal.

That one looks like you have to buy the front kit a rear kit and switchs.

I would suggest buying an original complete set. Everything will fit where it should. You should also take off the motors from the regulators and take of the plastic cups. Clean out the old grease and put in new. I used wheel bearing grease beacause it looked like what was there. I just installed them in my GSX. Alot of work but well worth it. If you buy aftermarket I can gaurantee it will not fit good and cause lots of headaches. The nice thing about factory original is all holes are dimpled for drilling and wiring already fits.

You can get a used set for a hell of alot cheaper than $1000

    Just my thoughts.........

Why use a 40+ year old system when you can buy a new system that is made to bolt right into your vehicle and has a life time warrenty ???

If you are building a 100% real car to be judged as that then ya I can see using the real stuff, but for a driver I woundn't.

Plus the way I look at it like this, you take all this time to install a power window system using 40+ year old stuff that could break down two days after you use it. I lost count of how many power window motors I had to replace on the old cars (new back then), way back when when I worked at a new car dealer. Those things were not built like electronics are built nowadays.

Go ahead and use the Buick motors if you want the Buick stuff, but if you own a driver I would buy the new ones with the life time warrenty..........

Hope that helps and I also hope that it doesn't pi$$ off someone, as I said it's just my two cents and how I would do it....

    Here's an option for you.

I just got my BPG Newsletter and it has an add for "Parts For Sale" that might be what you are looking for.

It's someone in South Florida that has New & Rebuilt Power Window Motors.

The phone number in the add is 1-800-552-4413.

Let me know if you call them and it works out.

    See Ya
