I would like some prayers concerning my immediate future. I am at a crossroad in my life,I have a move coming up which was just confirmed Tuesday,but I also have a possible career change too. I am a mechanic right now,and I also work part time for some friends at their restraunt.My friends want me to manage their buisness for them,so that they can have some free time.They own three buisnesses and all are family owned and operated.The restraunt just takes up way too much of their time. I also have two possible mechanic jobs in the same town that I have to check on next week.They are both good shops,one is owned by an excellent tech and a good guy.He would be willing to teach me what I don't know and help me become a better tech. The other is owned by an old church friend,and it is pretty much the same in regards to training. By training I mean using computers and scanners,driveability,transmissions.I am a good mechanic,but it has been several years since I have been in a quality shop. I have become quite stale in my diagniosing.my last two bosses have been the ones who do everything and then hand it off to me to fix it. Anyway,I really need guidance in this area,as I am not too excited about staying in the mechanics field,but not excited about running my friends buisness either.Prayers for guidance and revelation would be greatly appreciated.

Plan Carefully Kase: Just yesterday I posted, in another thread, the life change I made 7 years ago. It was a hugh change with a very large reduction in my income (62% less) but I've never looked back with any regret. Right now you've got a thousand thoughts running through your head. Don't let your judgement get clouded. Think things through, which sometimes means going off somewhere alone (remember, Christ did this many times!) so you can concentrate. Share your thoughts and feelings with those you love because they can give you insight from a different prospective. My change was for the better; I've been able to spend more time with my family and I enjoy life more. You are in my prayers and my hope for you is that your decision will also make you happier in life. May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Paul

Kase, The first thing you need to do is when you make a decision and if there is peace with that decision go that direction, if there is not don't go there. When you are at peace with something then it may be the way to go if you are truly seeking the Lord. If there is any doubt what so ever you may want to question if it is the right decision. We are tested from time to time of our faith in Him but He will give us direction if we are truly seeking him. My prayer is with you on this. :TU:
