Guys, some of you know him, others will not. I recently received this disturbing message from Gene Hill of Trenton NJ, (aka gs400) . . . a good friend for 22+ years, an avid 68-69 Buick GS fan and GSCA member for over 25 years: "Dennis I just wanted to let you know I was told that I have liver cancer and they give me 1 to 2 years If you can find it your heart to say some prayers for that would be great you see what time i'm sending to you because I can't sleep I was going to call you but I can't keep it to gather long enough to talk Thanks Dennis Gene" Can we all, please stop for a moment, and say a prayer for our brother Gene, PLEASE? Some of you know, my wife is coming off the end of a 2 year battle with breast cancer and believe me, I KNOW first hand, the struggles, the uncertainty, unknown, the breaking of loving hearts this disease can bring onto a family. Gene is frightened as we all can understand. Please send Gene a direct email or simply reply here with your prayers. My fellow Christian brothers on this site, please include Gene on your Prayer List at your church, and lets unite and rebuke this disease in the name of our Lord and Savior. Gene, my Friend, we are praying for you. Feel free to call me any time. ANY TIME... Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Gene, May God give you His peace that passes all understanding. Will be praying for your healing, those around you and guidance to those treating you. Mark
Dennis, sorry to hear about Gene I'm sure Gene an I have cross pass here on the board our prayers go out to Gene and his family Frank and family.
Gene will be included in my nightly prayers. I pray for a cancer cure every night and for those fighting this horrible disease.
Praying that in the days ahead you will be able to lean on the Lord and be comforted by his presence and encouraged by his promises that he will never leave or foresake you. That said I too know of this disease first hand and the earthly chaos it brings with it but I pray that God will mute that and allow yourself ,loved ones, and friends to experience the peace that only our Lord can give us during such trials. God bless you, Gene
