`67 GS400 (464 ci)4-Speed
I believe it is because of the service your using.
Just resize, and upload right to the site from your PC.
I think anyway... o No: I'm just a car guy who knows how to type...:Brow:
what a looker
nice looking cars you got there. i was wonderin' where my parts were gonna end up.,lmao.
I forgot to add a pic of my 464.
Sinister ride. I have a Stage1 powerd 67GS California. How do i post a picture. Ray.
BEAUTIFUL CAR- I was wondering how my GS400 would look like with those wheels-now I know. Gorgeous. I'll just have to have a set of those. Thanks.
After pricing out those wheels, I wouldn't exactly call them "poverty caps". Expensive but very nice. Maybe I can find a set at the nats in May. I hope to see you and your car there. I can only get a few days off work that week so I'll fly into Nashville and drive up to BG. Thank God for UPS.
Should I switch to disc brake rally's?
The aircleaner now has a cold-air duct fed from the cowl.
Adam..... That has to be the coolest color blue. I just love Blue on that year 'Lark. :jd:
Thanks Mark. It's funny, nobody usually likes it because it looks so bad when faded and oxidized that they can't visualize it in base-coat/clear-coat. I had guys tell me it'd look awful when looking at the old faded paint. It now has almost a shimmery/glowing effect. I was very happy with it when it came out of the spray booth.
Adam nice Buick.
Now to figure out where the color botton is. lol
Dad's 64 Riv
Here is my dad's 64 Riv. It's a 425 2x4's, and a 100 shot of NOS. Also has a 9" ford with 4.10's. On this pass it ran 12.8 with a 1.66 short time carrying the front wheels about 4-5 feet!
My First Riviera
This was my first 66 Riviera. ( I hope the picture uploads )
It was my first car also. I put a lot of work into this 400 dollar beauty. Paint job, white interior, trim parts and rebuilt the engine myself with my father's help. ( Or maybe I helped him ) The interior door panels were redone in a very short black shag. I liked them, even though a lot of people didn't. I owned the car for 3-4 years before I sold it. I could kick myself now for selling it. Actually I regretted selling it about 6 months after I did. That's why after all these years I bought another 66 Riv to take it's place. I'll post a picture of it in a later post.
My Present 66 Riviera
Here is a pic of my current Riv. It is a 1966 GS model. Thinking of painting it the same as my first one as seen in a previous post. It needs some work, but it will get there slowly. I installed sequential taillites on it. One of the things I wanted to do to the 1st Riv I owned. It will not be fixed up to stock but to my liking. Thinking of adding driving lites to it that swing down from under the front bumper when turned on. Also looking into custom tail lite lenses and front parking lamp lenses. Anyway a long way to go. If ever in Bergen County, NJ on a Saturday nite in the summer, try and stop by Whiskey Cafe in Lyndhurst ( down the block from Medevil Times ). The local ROA members are usually there.:beer
This is my first attempt at posting a pic from my brandy new scanner. I'll try the shady shot where the paint actually looks good.... OK, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but every type of file I tried to use to post the pic the board rejected and told me the file was too big. I kept trying different types until it went through, but it's an attachment. What's next if I want to post like the rest of you did?
Re: My 65
You will need to save the image as a JPG image. I would also recommend resizing the image to no more than 640x480 for a post here. If you are using Adobe Photoshop, use a compression of "6" when it asks you what quality to save at.
It should work from there. If it doesn't message me...I'll try to make it easier.
My 65 (again)
Here goes nuthin'.
