Pressure treated wood for a bench?

    I just replaced all of my pressure treated railing and balusters with vinyl/composite because I was tired of stripping and re-solid staining them white. Not cheap to do but it looks great and I will not have to stain them ever again. I was going to replace the decking but decided to pressure wash and re-stain it.
    The railings were 23 years old and so is the decking and the decking is in near perfect condition. It is under the roof of a porch so that helps.

    If you have an independent lumber yard in your area, they may donate the wood for your eagle project. I was amazed how helpful the locally owned stores are for the boy scouts when we did ours.
