Can anyone give me a rough estimate for a 455 conversion? My 71 skylark already has the 350/350 pulled and is ready for the 455/400. The 455/400 still has to be pulled out of my 70 Electra then placed in the skylark. What should a shop charge me to pull the motor/tranny combo and put it in the Skylark? The 400 from the electra is a longshaft so new holes will have to be drilled for the crossmember i think. anyone have any idea on price? Thanks, Skeet.
