If I do not yet know what color my car is going to be if/when it's done, what are the safest primer colors to put on the bare metal? I was going to go with grey, but that's more out of habit than sense.
Doesn't matter really. Its not like house paint, there is no shine through if you cover the panel correctly. I generally use a red primer, and then spray a grey over it. Then as I sand through the grey, the red shows me where my low and high spots are. -Jon
