well i gotta tell you guys i have a problem with my new `67 GS 400 Conv`t i bought,i had noticed a little white smoke coming out of the driver side exhaust manifold so i figured let me do a plug change and a compression test, turns out #7 cylinder blows out anti freeze out of the spark plug hole,i assume a head gasket leak?theres is no antifreeze in the oil or oil in the antifreeze, any suggestions?would it be anything other than a head gasket leak hopefully if nothing is cracked(head or block)?I need Fel pro head gasket, intake gasket and exhaust gasket part #`s please so i can get them from my local auto parts please. Thanks
Sounds exactly like the problem I had with my car when I bought it....blown head gasket. Mine was on the #1 cylinder.
Thanks alot guys,i pulled the head off tonight and i pulled it off with the manifold in place,4 bolts snapped, these have`nt been taken apart no way,i gotta give the head out tomorrow so they can take out the snapped bolts and re tap, what a mission man jesus christ. Thanks
It turns out the water was coming in from the intake manifold gasket and not the head gasket :af: :af: and i freakin took the head out and busted my a$$ for no reason,oh well. Thanks
Well I'm sure you wanted to do a valve job anyway right? Sure you did. Probably wanted to port match those things too huh? It's all becoming clear to you now.... When I snap my fingers $4k will disappear from you checking account.... Snap!
