I have a problem with this web site in that when i go to this location there is something that changes my settings to a proxy server. This causes me to have to go thru a proceedure to take it off because it screws up my computer and i cant use it anymore untill i correct by going in and clicking off the proxy server. Truzi, Yes it only happens when I go to this site. Also , lately I am getting auto pop up ads on this site and I never have before. This has started in the last 2 days. I go to my controll panel then to internet options then to connections then to settings. At which time I click off proxy server. This will stay off untill i go back to v8 Buick . com and immediatly my computer will hang up on site with a jerking motion in the picture and it will not do anything untill I go thru the whole proceedure again. then I can go back to v8b.com and operate on site in a normal way. But when i leave v8b.com then i have to go thru the proceedure again. otherwise my computer does the jerking /hung up routine again and wont work any more untill I do. It has really dealt me some misery because v8b is my favorite site.
It sounds like you may have been hijacked. Probably spyware/adware. Something is likely running in the background causing the proxy settings change and ads to popup.
