Wheels I'm looking at for the rear of my car are available in a 3.313" backspace and 4.875" backspace. I assume the 4.875" backspacing would be the way to go but am leary of pulling the trigger. Want very much to get it correct 1st time. Will be mounting MT ET Streets 275/50R15 with a 10.5" tread width on these wheels. Thoughts ? Thanks, Jim

The 15 X 8" repro factory chrome wheels use 4.5" of BS to center the wheel in the wheel well. If you widen the wheel .5", .25" more BS will keep the center of the wheel in the same position. So 4.750" BS does the trick. Your wheel has .125" more BS (1/8"). That should be fine.
