Once again I am going as a spectator this year. I friend is running his car for the first time, not a buick unfortunately. But a pretty kool car. Who is attending. I hope to come by and meet a few of you.
We are going to spectate too with about 5 other couples we do the Power Tour with. Really looking forward to this event! Pretty long drive but we’re going.
I will be there with my 79 Century Turbo Coupe, Rhett True will be there with his 65 GS conv. Just look for all the trailers parked together at least 8 of us.
Thinking, just thinking at the moment, cause I have a swap meet coming up on Saturday/Sunday. I may just drag my rear up there for the Friday session. That's if I can kick the Drag Week habit. It's been a few years.....
Wow, this was a fun event. There were quite a few Buicks there running and spectator driven. Will try to post some pics later. Got to watch some V8 members run!
Hey, Starck, I briefly chatted with you but didn't get to personally say hello to your friend. I know last year he and I had a good conversation. Seems like a cool cat.
We had a great time. The turnout was dang good despite the weather forecast. Car was a bit off and I lost my shootout, but wouldn't trade it for anything. Cut some very good lights over the weekend, got to see some old friends, and got to watch all the old iron flex their muscles.
