i do plan on making the trip to Stanton, but it will probably be next year.I am hoping to make the virginia race this year;but i still need to finishes up the clip;get the motor dyno tuned in .my motor guy has placed a great deal of time invested in the motor;he is a perfectionist and his motor speak for their self locally.trying to get everything ready for the dyno in the next few weeks.396,4 speed muncie and 12 bolt 4;10 gear to boot.chris

    Chris,

Is that the same Nova that I think you had at Commerce a few years back. I seem to recall it is a different one and you had this one in process...???

I will post some pictures this week of the progress of the 68 nova 396/375 hp purestocker this week.Been alittle slower than I thought;but the motor is all ready for the dyno.probably a good idea to schedule it for the first week of the new year.removed the old front clip / stripped the firewall ,and primed it today.the new front clip is painted semi-gloss black with a sikkens paint product , spindle, tierods etc.all painted and ready to roll under the car.I have a rottissere ,so at this point,it would make since to remove gas tank and rearend and place the car on the rottissere; then i can sand underneath and paint the bottom side and then start putting the car back together;in a few weeks.Chris Teed

You're making me homesick- my first car was a '69 with a 250 and 4w drums- r@ped a chevelle for the spindles etc. and put on the discs- built the 250 up with a hot cam, headers, dual webers, etc. Mean lil Bast@@@- I miss it- my wife hated it!
