Here is an original 1970 QQ cowl plate. I took this off a wrecked 70 back in 73-74. The car hit a steel bridge in my town. from what i remember the motor and trans were sold and the car went to a salvage yard. It had been picked cleaned and only the cowl tag and vin were left. I DID NOT TAKE THE VIN TAG.car was crushed with it. I have looked for 30 years for the motor. I will sell this $100 shipped. Wacko
Why would anyone be willing to pay that much for a tag for a crushed car - that body number is gone - and doesn't match with the VIN or other info/documents.
"Wall Art" Same as early Rock Artist album covers are ---------- Post added at 05:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:53 PM ---------- Hope to hear from seller...soon.
diecast is cheaper ---------- Post added at 01:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:35 PM ---------- wow - its just unbelievable to me that anyone would want one so bad .. Guess it would be a great conversation piece - what you pay for old protect o plate s - i still have my 69 GS400 verts - the only person who will get it is the current owner - it went Norway and have had guys theres watching for it years no luck so far looked close once. - and they'll only pay the postage cause i think these thinks belong with the car(should have been in the car when i sold it to broker - of course most them and dealers use to clean the history before reselling - flippers tend take the stuff out and sell it separately ) - if I knew it had been crushed then open market is fair better than trash .
