Hey does anybody know of a good source for rebuilding / modifying a quadrajet and an approximate cost for doing so? Anybody in South Florida?

    Thanks Scott

Cliff Ruggles on this Board does this. He wrote the current Q jet Book.

Also JW does those rebuilds with Cliff's specail kit.

Would you know how much he charges for a rebuild? And thanks for the quick response.

Is there anybody else out there that can provide me the cost / service of a carb rebuilld before I attempt this myself?

    Thanks

    Scott

    Scott,
If you're not 110% familiar with the inner workings & Voodoo magic of a Q-Jet, send it out. They are quite easy to rebuild but the secret is in the settings & the tuning. I have one on my car now, a rebuilt 7041544, '71 350-4V.
Rebuilt by a well known shop here on the board. It's been on there 5-6 years.
Bolted it on right out of the box. Haven't touched it save a vacuum pull-off replacement. Still works like a champ.
