Looking at my replacement panel and comparing it to the undamaged drivers side, I notice that the outside of the quarter panel is higher than the inside piece. This is a photo of the drivers side door sill top.

Notice that the top lip of the outside is higher than the inside, but way back in the distance / corner of window, they are pretty even across the top.

In my very early / rough stages of replacing the passenger side, I notice that the two tops of the inside and outside are fairly even the entire way back.

I know it is a 40+ year old car and it may have been like this from factory, or due to age things settle. Can anybody with a 67 skylark take a look at both sides of theirs and tell me if they are even or higher inside or out and even if both passenger and drivers side are the same?

Sure would appreciate the confirmation as it helps my direct my efforts.

    Thank you.

    Jon
