On the old version, when you selected insert link, a window would pop up that allowed you to name the link anything you wanted to name it. Now, I don't get that option, though I have seen a few recently that have been given a name by the poster. What am I missing here? For example, this is all I can do now, insert the entire URL. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick-455-Stainless-6-Point-Master-Engine-Bolt-Kit_W0QQitemZ170078514148QQihZ007QQcategoryZ33620QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem o No:
I think I may have figured it out Dale. Here's what I did: 1 - I clicked on the link in your post to copy it. 2 - Opened the add reply link. 3 - Added this text. 4 - Clicked on the Hyper link icon. 5 - Pasted the link from your post into it. 6 - When the link appears in the reply box, it actually shows up twice, the first time as the URL, then a second time in the blue background. This is where you use your "back' button to remove the blue shaded link. Then you can add whatever trext you wish, as long as it remains inside the " [ URL [ URL] " brackets. Try it out.:TU: Bolt Kit
I still see the link icon and it works. I just tested it b/c of this post. I never use it... reaching for a mouse slows me down. Just put the tags in yourself. put [u rl=web-address goes here] then the text you want to see as a blue link, then end the tag with [/u rl] I put the space between the "u" and "r" so the software would show it instead of think it was a legit tag, so don't put in the space.
