Is there anything like 15''x8 with 5x5 spokes steel wheels wich will take original 66' Riviera hubs and will fit on those huge brake drums?Or biggest fullsize wheels where 7'' wide?

    Thanks.

Kacper,I've been looking real hard for the same for my '69 Electra. If by hubs you mean full wheel covers,I may be into something.
I thought that Chevy truck rally 15x8 wheels would do the trick but they would not clear the masive drums.I found some 15x7 "wagon" wheels or white spoke wheels that will clear and will accept the full wheel covers.I'm trying to find a set of 15x8 of the same to see if they will work,I'll let you know when I do.

this wheel is what I call a wagon wheel,it is intended to fit a Chevy 2x4 truck with five lug hubs.

Here's the fitment of my stock '69 wheel cover on the wheel, perfect.

I have a few people looking out for a pair of 15x8 wheels of this kind, once located I'll check for fitment.I believe that Devon is running some of these also,so I'm hoping that they will fit.

Yesterday i was speakin with my friend about it and he has some Cheerokee wheels on his 85' Caprice. They are 15x8 and 15x10 with 5x5 spokes. Now i need to borrow one from him and check if they fit on a Riv.I'll let you know what i investigated.

    So his 1985 Caprice is either a wagon, or a coupe/sedan with HD package, otherwise it's 5 x 4.75 bolt circle for a 1977-1990 down-sized Caprice sedan/coupe.

If by Cheerokee you mean Jeep Cherokee, then those are a 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

It doesn't matter how he spells Cherokee:
They fit on that Caprice wagon, so it's a 5 x 5 bolt circle :TU:

I have a pair of 15 x 8 GM 5 x 5 steel wheels I have had sitting around for God knows how long. So long I can't recall where they came from.:Do No:
I'm sure the hole in the center for the hub is larger on these wheels, but I don't think that matters.
I've knocked the center rings out of many Buick Rallye wheels to get them to fit other cars with the larger hub with no issues.

I could check tonight to see if they will bolt up to the front of my '70 and clear the drums.

Well, maybe "Cheerokee" is a famous Polish rim manufactorer ?

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Anyway:

    1999-2004 Grand Cherokee:

    All 16x7.0" Wheels: Backspacing = 6.0" Offset = 50.8mm Bolt pattern = 5x5 (5x127mm)

    All 17x7.5" Wheels: Backspacing = 6.25" Offset = 50.8mm Bolt pattern = 5x5 (5x127mm)

Sorry, but I don't drink or smoke.

(So you will never catch me mounting Grand Cherokee rims on a classic Riviera)

I'm running 15x8 "wagon wheels" on the rear of my Wildcat with 275-R60's and Electra wheelcovers. I don't know if they'd contain the big aluminum front drums or not since I run the original rims up front.

The wagon wheels are so close to the rear backing plates that wheel weights on the backside of the rim will rub off!

Well i can do this and leave original hubs or go to alloy wheels which wont look any good there.I just wanted to put there 255 with 3'' white walls and puting them on 6'' wide rim isnt goin to work well.
