Question on 310 wildcat

    So my question is I have a 65 buick 300 with a cast 4bbl intake. I ordered a thermostat and it was the wrong one.(assuming it's for the 2bbl intake) I'm looking for some guidance on the proper thermostat for this intake. Thanks everyone. 20210710_145603.jpg

    Is the one you have that is incorrect, much bigger diameter?
    If so, you may have ordered/received a nailhead thermostat (2-9/16"), instead of a 300 small block thermostat(2-1/8").

    Yes it was too big .it's a gates 33036s.

    2 brl and 4 brl are the same.
