Can I replace the mast on a 64 Buick Special radio antenna? I need the whole antenna and cble for My 64 spcial deluxe and I found a guy who will sell me his 64 base and cable but he says he doesn't have the mast. Is that something I can get new (the mast)?
That would depend on whether or not the base has a threaded hole for the antenna; most of them do (mine does, and several others I know of). Take a look. That will tell you what your next move will be. I've seen masts for sale at swap meets and all over the internet.
Oh cool, so factory the base came with a male thread?. Is that the case? I can ask my seller to clarify what his base has.
