I have run across both anodized aluminum and stainless windshield mouldings for the 1966 and 1967 A bodies. Does anyone know what model got what? Special, Skylark, GS, etc?

Bill, I have also seen this on the belt molding(?) or the chrome on the tops of the doors and windows that the window sweep attaches to. I have both the stainless and the aluminum ones. My 64 Skylark has stainless one.

I have heard the GS had the stainless (as the GTO) while the Skylark and Lemans had the other but dont know.

The hardtops had the aluminum ones and the convertibles came with the stainless ones,i dont know why but thats how they were.

    Thanks

    BuickWidow 67 GS Needs help

Chevys sometimes got the cheap anodized. I have never had a 67 Buick with anodized windshield moldings. Belt moldings were anodized on all my 67 GSs.

Sorry so i dont mix you guys up,i was referring to the belt reveal moldings being anodized on hardtops and stainless on convertibles,as far as windshield moldings i`ve never seen them other than stainless on all of them.

    Thanks
