I have my 69 350 engine out becasue of exhaust leak. I see there were no gaskets in these engines and am wondering if after I clean up the exhaust manifold surfaces with machining if I should go back with a gasket? I assume a gasket is available even though it appears they did not originally have one? Thanks.
shouldn't have to use gaskets, esp. if you have both heads and manifolds surfaced yes, gaskets are available
gasket i replaced my driver's side manifold recently, passenger's side soon, i bought gaskets at autozone, they fit just fine... scott
