I am thinking of selling my 1972 skylark. It has a 455 (1972-1973 vintage) that has 10.5 comp, 245/235 lunati cam (custom grind-i have the specs but they are not my now and i did not mem the rest of the specs) worked over Q-jet, headers, B+M trans cooler and external oil cooler, TH-400 trans built to stage 1 specs and then some (built for heavy duty use), forged pistons, full machine work done to the block ( i have all the info) , 3.42 posi rear, brakes rebuild (rebuilt proportioning vavle), front disc brakes, no a/c, interior is in good shape, exterior is in great shape (no rust issues), 15" rims and goodyear tires, stage 1 heards that have a lot of port work, edelbrock performer intake with port matching and lots of other machine work.

Rear end has coil over shocks, and air bags, and boxed control arms with factory sway bar.

I know that there is stuff that I am missing but what is a car like this worth. it has very low miles (like 2000) on the engine and trans. It is blue and in great shape.

    just curious..thanks

I don't really know about these...

My guess would be $6-10K. You could always put it on ebay, that would give you a better idea of value. Or someone else may spit out a more accurate value... :Do No:

that is about what some one who knows the car stated the value to be. he said $8-$12K. i think that the value of $8-10K is close to what i would get.

any other thoughts from anyone else...
