    HiYa..
    1. Where do I find a 4 BBL intake for a 300?
    2. Does anyone make headers for a 300??
    3. What is involved in puting a 401/425 in a 64 Skylark? (Can you say 64 GS??)

    Thadd; You and I think a lot alike , back in 68 I had a 2bbl 300 in a 64 lark cpe. I built it up with a 4bbl. and the optional 11 to 1 pistons, no headers, cold air pkg.from the windshield wiper chamber. I won more trophies with it than any other car I ever had. junk yd. the intake there has to be some still out there. they are aluminum. Buick made them. dont know of any body that makes headers for this set up. I sent you details on the 401/425 swap I did it too but that throws the car into a gas class and it is harder to win at the strip. go for it. doc.

    Thadd, for question #3 you will need; 1 pr. front springs from a 65 lark gs or gto or olds 442. engine mount plates from a 65 larkgs a trans from a 65 401/425. a 66 turbo400 from any buick big car has switch pitch in it, and works great. you need the trans crossmember &mount. then the driveshaft will have to be shortened to fit. and you will definitaly will need a posi. and air bags in the rear springs, otherwise WHEEL HOP WILL BE SEVERE. the best set up is a 12 bolt from a gto, bolts right in. doc

    To the best of my knowledge all '64 to'66 TH400 trannys are SP units that fit a Nailhead. '67 TH400 is the only one that is SP and fits a BB 400/430/455.:Smarty:
