Quieting the exhuast

    Good idea.
    Think how the factory exhaust is made/installed verses what we install for performance.
    The OEM head pipes are usually laminated.... double wall, that there right off the bat isolates noise.
    The OEM muffler is usually double walled also
    The OEM pipe diameter is smaller.
    The OEM system is hung loosely on rubber isolated hangers, its allowed movement without hitting the floor/suspension.
    With larger pipes, we have to limit the movement, while we use rubber bushed mounts, the rubber is under tension and that reduces its ability to absorb/isolate vibration, while we dont "feel" the vibration, we "hear" it.
