Quite Possibly the Worst Hood...Ever

I just LOVE the fact that the stripe on the hood passes half-ass over the "hood tach".
Just comically bad planning and execution reflective of the poor decision making that made the end product possible.

 

That thing is a set of wheels, tires, paint job, interior, engine, trans, a can of gasoline and a lighter away from perfection.

 

Damn, Thats it?

Well Hell, I'll go get it.

 

I think we really only need the two last ingredients

 

On a side note, I've seen C3 Vettes done with the same body kit this one has on it before, and they're weird but 70's fantastic. And that's an old Cervini's "twin turbo" hood with the rectangle glassed in to clear his dual TPI type filters on top of the carb..... I ain't sayin' I like it, but it does have some stuff that was killer in it's period. The big problem (other then it's a C3 Vette) is that he's got 70s, 80s, and 90s trendy crap all mixed together on one abortion.

 

I'm with 2manybuicks on this one. What an abomination! I do not want any of whatever they are having.

WOW!!! All I can say about it!! LOL It would be more appropriate to cover the first two of the letters on the license plate...."UNEEEK" to "EEEK"

 

I had that same JVC tape deck in a ‘79 Trans Am. It sounded really good, so there’s that.

One of the funniest f ing things I HAVE EVER read!!! Oh my goodness tears in my eyes for real.

 

We should create a game where we take an obnoxious car and see how far we can take it over the top. I’ll start:
I’m with Patrick in the dime store cassette deck. Inexcusable on a car of this caliber. That, and the “whale tail” spoiler that needs it’s own gutter system. Oh, I almost forgot; the paint, bodywork and wheels need immediate attention too. Maybe they could’ve added a row of sweeping LED’s on the hood (like KITT). And curb feelers. And those fake ventiports, maybe 6 per side. Held in with drywall screws. Put some of that chrome door edge guard around the hood and doors. Maybe some fur around the windshield on the inside, with 38 pine scented air fresheners hanging off the rear view mirror. Oh yeah - just to make this go full circle - neon under lighting that pulses to the beat of the song playing in that high-end cassette deck. THEN it’d be a perfect candidate for the crusher.

A row of fuzz balls along the inside of the windshields,

 

"One should die so that more can live..." This thing needs to be removed from the spore pool so theres NO CHANCE of it ever breeding again. Four of the shattiest colors that stevie wonder could mix, with a zero eye for matching radius's. No need for the scented pine trees on the mirror, Im sure this thing get the Johnson Products treatment with "Pimp Oil" Scent. The biotches be lovin' on it. ws

 

Had a gf for a short while - she and her ex used to "build" cars like that in the mid to late seventies - when they were new. They had a body shop in las Cruces back in the day. An older woman. 62/63 y/o now. Plastic Fantastics.

Mu dad put many of them "twin turbo Daytona " front clips on in the 80's,...we laugh but in the 80s a vette with a Daytona front end,..stonwash levis,..snake skin boots,..and some nose candy in the console you were gettn leg fo sho

 

I think we all have seen Corvette Summer Corvettes. The colors on this car make it the ugly a## gem that it is. That and 128k.
