Need some help here guys. We all know that there are a slew of 10 second V-8s out there. What I am searching for are a few things. First: All full bodied Buicks running 9.45 and under to 9.0 Second: All full bodied Buicks running in the 8's Third: Well we all know two that hit the 7's. All Buicks above must be Buicks that ran in 2004 and will be running in 2005. Also would need the best time and type of Buick. I am trying to compile an article regarding predictions and goals in 2005. This is limited to V8's for now. Later I would also like to do the same with the turbos, for that I will need a ton of help as my knowledge on what they are running and who owns what is extremely limited. Example below and please add/correct to it I know there are more. For the low 9's: Bruno DiPaola 1965 Skylark 9.16 at 141 Rick Martinez 1970 GS 9.25 at 144.10 Rob Chilenski 1970 Stg 1 9.43 at 140.37 Paul Pirnat 1969 GS Gary Paine Skyhawk Sweezy 1970 GS For the 8's: Dave Mongeon Skyhawk Stan Zerucha Skyhawk John Csordas Jr Skyhawk Rich Brouwer Regal Doug Hecker 1965 GS 8.74 Mike Tomazewski 1968 Wagon 8.99 at 148 For the 7's: Scotty Guadagno Regal 7.68 Rod Henrickson Skyhawk 7.9
I don't know their name but the had the nitrous Regal in the low 9's, high 8's at Salem. Also Jerry Chambers with 8.70's and the Dehabeys are in the mid to low 8's. Gary Kubisch named a bunch of names off in a certain thread not long ago.
Garys list off his post; Just off the top of my head I am almost positive that the tenth car would be below 9-flat......... Scott Guadagno 7.67 Rod Hendrickson 7.90's Dave Mongeon 8.0's The Zerucha's 8.10 The Dehabey's 8.50's Big Doug 8.74 The Clarks 8.70's Wonderdog 8.70's Geof Ketchum 8.80's Rich Brouwer 8.90's There's more but this was a quick answer....... Csordas....How could I forget? That's one of the nicer Skyhawks out there,Been at least 8.70's,Maybe .60's __________________ Gary Kubisch '70 Skylark 505 STG 2 All steel except hood...3420lbs w/ me 9.60's at 138+ ALL IN GOOD TASTE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw "The Clarks-8.70's" on the list. Is that the blue Regal from Chicago? I know they have been in the 8's. They were in Salem. Tom Jenkins
