Hello gang, Anybody gonna race west of the Mississippi? I live in Oklahoma City and our local track has a Muscle Car shoot out the beginning of June. The have a factory muscle class. racing Yes I am. I need to change my location on this site. I'm about 20 mins from the track. I grew up in Okla but haven't made it there yet. I just moved from Barnhart,MO so a race at Gateway isn't technically west of old muddy river but it's only 8 hrs from here. Matt
What part of OK City? I lived in Edmond for a short time...played golf at Oaktree CC for a living:laugh:
Wow, you lucky sob Oaktree is VERY nice. I went to Junior High in Edmond and my mother still lives there. How in the heck did you "get" to play Oaktree? Matt
My aunt & uncle lived on the 3rd hole of the West course. I got my first eagle there! Holed it from 130 yards:Brow: I became quite the player, until I burnt myself out from playing every day..(I know, poooooor me!!:laugh: ) I came back to St. Louis and concentrated on playing my trumpet, went to college on a music scholarship at Southern IL Univ - Edwardsville just across the river.
Most of my racing is done on the banks of the Mississippi...either at Gateway or MMP in Memphis. I occasionally go to OIR (Rogersville, MO) just outside of Springfield...you ever get out to MoKan? We had some Stock Appearing and Pure Stock cars at our track day during the Supercar Reunion last year at Gateway...and we're working on something for this year as well.
I missed the supercars reunion at Gateway. I have no idea what I was doing that weekend. I've since moved from STL but it's an easy drive. I don't have a car yet but would like to go to some PS/FAST races this summer. Matt
