    Hey,
I have a '65 Skylark w/ the V8 300 engine. It's my daily driver and I love it but I need to become better at fixing it and keeping it up.
My radiator blew out the other day and blasted the wires off of my distributor cap. I have the firing sequence on the engine block but don't know which order the pistons go in.
Is #1 on the right or left (facing the front) and do they run with #1 and #4 both in the front or like a "U" with #1 and #8 in the front.

Does anyone know where to get this info?

    Thanks

i do know that with my 67 Riviera, its odds and evens, and front to back, facing the motor, the closest to the radiator on the left was 1 but its the 430 motor could be diffferent ;) yeap i love it!

If you can find one, an old Chiltons manual would be a good thing to get. Also if you are having car troubles you'll probably get more help in the Buick FAQ section or any of the other sections for Auto questions. Just figured I'd tell ya. Sounds like a nice ride :beer .
