I'm talking to engineered-products about their 68-72 radiator on ebay. I need a radiator for a 67 with a 455 and I am thinking a GS 400 radiator would work. What are the dimensions (L,W,H) on a stock 1967 GS 400 radiator? They asked and may have one that works.
I had put a '67 GS radiator in my '66 Special years ago, and a Griffin in my GS. The Griffin is 27.5" wide and 19" overall..... that's the largest that will fit. The 68-up have the front frame horns further apart so those rads are much too wide for a 64-67.
I heard back and they do not have a correct radiator. I asked about building one and they offered to do it for $500 plus shipping. Ouch! It is hand made in their shop.
Yes, 19" high. Summit has a nice search function to find a radiator. Select a 'universal' radiator, 26" by 19" and you get a bunch of results: https://www.summitracing.com/search...N=4294949245+4294951518+4294949200+4294949206
Thanks Walt. Summit does have a good search feature. I liked the write up this company did in their ad and they do offer a life time warranty. The prices on ebay were very reasonable, much like Summit, so I was shocked when they said $500!
