Jason When you say drivers/pgr side codes, are they on the tank or how they are placed on the tag? I still have my original radiator and really have not looked at the tanks for any codes. Thanks for the help with the codes:TU:
The tanks have individual codes stamped in them. Those two tanks comprise the SJ radiator. So what you see on the tag is the two tank codes, the radiator code and the year. I'd be interested to see what your radiator says
Jason Luckily I have my radiator out of the car. It does have the "IA" on the drivers side and it has DE on the pass side. The "D" is large and on top of one of the ribs and the "E" is smaller and on the lower part of the ribbed area. My car was a Fremont built if that can make a difference.
Jim, Had my rad. out for clean-up, noticed a few small stains so I sent it out for a recore. Rad. shop believes it's original to the car. Any way to verify? '71 350 Skylark with AC. Fremont build plant, 01C build date. 3 core with a near horizontal cap. RH tank has CJ with a smaller A slightly above & betwween the C & the J. Thanks.
