Radio disassembly / repair

Does anyone know how to remove this little black clip without breaking it? It’s inside the radio face plate.

Spag - If you look at the clip closely you will see two prongs that push into the plastic stud. If you have a pick, pry up on those to lessen the tension on the clip. Prying up on just the clip can cause the prongs to dig in deeper. Usually, when you pry on the prongs the clip will come off.

On occasions like this I used pliers like this with good results. If the plier is small enough to fit under the prongs, it will evenly release the prongs.

I have used a small slotted screwdriver many times to pry loose the prongs, with success.
