Rally Rim Black

    I am getting ready to paint the inner area of a set of rally rims and didn't know if there is a "right" black to use or if it changed on aplication or year of production. Some that I have seen are flat black and others appear very glossy. I appreciate the help, Thanks

    I just painted my wheels with Rustoleum Semi-Gloss black and they look good. Have used Eastwood wheel black but thought it was too flat.

    I used Rustoleum "Glossy black"....Gotta Love It! :grin:

    I've been using rustoleum satin black, and it's been working good for me.

    Just an FYI-
    The '65 and I think '66 14" rallyes were painted with a grey/silver color some call Argent. Just in case the wheels you're painting are for a '65-'66 car. Here is a link
