I am getting ready to paint the inner area of a set of rally rims and didn't know if there is a "right" black to use or if it changed on aplication or year of production. Some that I have seen are flat black and others appear very glossy. I appreciate the help, Thanks
Here you go! Tons of info. here. http://www.buickperformance.com/rfinish.htm Thanks to George N. Good Luck Bert
I just painted my wheels with Rustoleum Semi-Gloss black and they look good. Have used Eastwood wheel black but thought it was too flat.
Happy Birthday...original owner. I used Rustoleum "Glossy black"....Gotta Love It! P.S. "Happy Birthday" to my SKYLARK 34 years old today!
Tremclad semi-gloss black, looks awesome. Tough stuff too, but takes a long time to dry. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=104457
Just an FYI- The '65 and I think '66 14" rallyes were painted with a grey/silver color some call Argent. Just in case the wheels you're painting are for a '65-'66 car. Here is a link
