Rare factory Buick 455 dual Quadrajet iron intake

    I don't really recall but you can see the second line running in front of the front carb around the passenger side. I'd guess the second one was Chevy style. I believe they were 500 cfm carbs.

    I remmber the emblems they handed out.I thought I still had one, but I have moved to many times. I would like to have one.

    I guess decals is the correct description. If you'll look at the pic of the heads on the core support, in the background you'll see a piece of cardboard on the firewill that has the Buick license plate and in the bottom right hand corner one of the decals.

    Thank you very much for taking the time to find and scan the pics! :) Great stuff indeed. I thought I'd never see that intake again. Oh boy, now we're all hoping to see a pic without the air cleaner. :laugh:

    I thought I had posted that pic. A photo and caption in the Jan 1990 GSXtra indicate Greg Tomlinson created it from an Offy single four barrel. The Webers were on McHam's wife's white GSX, a non-Stage car.

    Lance I have a Question. Do you know who owns the 67 Woodward avenue special?

    Lance,
    I didn't know Q-jets ever came in a smaller 500 cfm size. Were these special, or from another GM car?
