Hey I have a tranny that I'm buying that am unsure if it's a 350t vs. 400 how do I determine???????THNX for the help....Rege o No:

well the 400 is much larger , but the easiest way to tell is the 400 has the vacumn modulator on the right side in front just below the trans cooler line fittings and the 350 has it toward the rear on the right side also but pointing rearward right above the pan , i hope that helps

The TH-350 also has a mechanical kickdown vs. the TH-400's electric kickdown.

 

Hey the markings on the tranny are (68) (ME 098 D) and the kickdown was on the right 350 I guessed wrong no 400 any needy people it's here for taking...
