car is in great shape, has the 350-2 in it..problem for me is the interier is all brown...roof liner needs to be changed, couple cuts here and there... the paint on the car is horrid a cat barf gold, with an lsd inspired lightning bolt pin stripe...so if i get the car theres 2000 in paint right there... it has 42000 orignial miles on it, numbers match..3 speed auto. hes asking $9000 canadian, which i think is a bit high was thinking of offering $7000 with $7400 being a max offer..... what does everyone think? good price too high too low?
I think even offering $7k is too much. If it just a Skylark Custom, that needs paint and interior work, not to mention possible engine work or just detailing,.....I would say $4000 would be a TOP dollar. I paid $3000 for a prime 69 Skylark Custom a couple years ago. I painted that car, (everything else was very nice and original) and sold it for $8000.00. Is there any rust on the floorboards? trunk? frame? Are there any seals leaking fluids? You have to account for all of that extra stuff. It's up to you,......
