Realigning My Doors and Fenders - '65 Skylark Hardtop

    What should the gap be at the front, back, and bottom edges of the doors of my '65 Skylark?

    Progress So Far

    I've gotten the gaps around the door to about 0.160" to 0.180". According to a recent issue of Hot Rod, my goal is 1/8"(0.125") to 3/16"(0.188").

    The A-pillar to door edge alignment tells a little more.

    They appear to be off by about 1/8", which was juuuuuust enough to make the spacing to the fender a real pain to set. Either the gap between the fender and the A-pillar was too wide or the door would rub the fender. :Do No:
