Rear Drums for 69 GS

    I am cornfused.

    I thought the 69 A-bodies came with steel rear drums from the factory. Yes? No?

    Yes steel rear drums Aluminum front.

    Well yeah, stealing rear drums would be ideal, but most likely I'm gonna have to pay up.:D

    But seriously, thanks for confirming that. I want to keep things stock.

    I have six (6) remaining....Some are plain.... Some are finned... I have the boxes marked what is in them....

    I have a large assortment of original drums. Do you have a picture of the exact ones you are looking for? Each make had a slightly different drum,but would obviously still function the same.

    Steve, as per our conversation yesterday, I thought that you wanted aluminum rears. :confused: As I told you, I have plenty of cast iron drums, both finned and flared. Once you figure out exactly which ones your car is supposed to have, let me know and you can drive over and pick them up.:D Enjoy your vacation. Thanks, Bob.

    I guess sending you pictures will be a waste of my time,as you have a friend who lives nearby and he has what you want also.Shipping from here to you would cost more then the drums .Bruno.

    A drum should fit in the $21.XX USPS flat rate box. Perhaps Both. Guessing also, wasn't 1969 a transition year to Finned Drums?

    The 69 Models I have had were all a finned drum.
