I purchased new bolts that matched exactly what I took off the rear end cover; however, I don't think that they are correct. Could someone tell me if the bolts are to have the flange head or not, mine did not.

Question #2, what is the correct lenght of the shock absorber bolt? I could not find the ones I took off (I believe they broke when I took them off). The manual shows that the bolt is installed with the nut on top, I don't want the bolts to be too high.

Question #3, does anyone know where I can find the oval backed stud and bolt that attaches the brake backing plate to the axle?

Question #4, I purchased new wheel cylinders; but, they did not come with new bolts, where can I get them.

Question #5, I purchased new brake drums and shoes, should I paint them black?

According to the Assm. manual, the outer surfaces of the drums were sprayed black only on sport wheel-equipped cars. Left bare metal on wheel cover cars. However, black drums have been documented on original wheel cover cars, so obviously the assembly plant folks weren't too particular about this (so what's new)
