rear end newbie

    Hey hows it going guys i gotta stock 75 oldsmobile omega with a buick 350 i was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of rear end it might have i couldnt see a id plate anywhere but theres alot of grime that could be covering it. It's a 10 bolt couldit be a posi? and what kind of gear ratio am i looking at

    If the tag is at the 5 o'clock position wipe it and it will read use limited slip additive / fluid etc. metal stainless tag about 3 inches long held in by a cover bolt.

    The size rear should be a 8.5 in 1975...1976 it could be 7.5 OR 8.5 ALL depends on the optional engine and torque motor.

    AXLE tube on the passenger side facing forward on the tube will have stamped letter and number code clean the tube and list the numbers will all help with the ID. Jim
