how come sometimes only my left tire spins (when im going straight) but if i punch it in a turn both tires will leave rubber. used to both tires would spin every time but now only when i really torque on it.
Op[en differential will do this until the turn transition is complete. as weight transfer will cause this action in a OPEN NON POSI rear. You are catching the rearend in a transition from default right tire spinning to the left and will become posi for a bit till the turn is complete and intial weight transfer is back to equal again. Jim The wheel with the least amount of grip will spin on a OPEN NON POSI rear.
