Rear End Shops in Orange County Ca. that can machine and sleave a Axle for a 65

I have a 1965 Buick speical wagon (sky-top) that needs a new
28 spilne, 29-1/4 (or1/8?) (3 hole access) slide in (no internal clips) Axle
Bearing spun on Axle

I have scearch around the LA and Orange Country area with no luck
Is there a Rear end shop in the LA area that can machine and sleave it reasonable?

A friend of mine gave me a mint condition axle out of a 67 Buick
But its 29-5/8 long
It fits but I am afraid it will rub up against the inside pin or wear the inside bearings or gears since the play in the splines are bottoning out.

Any ideas?

 

You might check Currie Enterprises. They are right in your 'backyard', so to speak. I remember passing them on the way to my cousin's place in Fullerton.

If they can't do it, seems like they could point you in the right direction.
