    On my '70 skylark:

The drivers side (Rear Lights) dont work, only the passenger side.
How can i troubleshoot what's working properly? Is there certain cables that i have to replace or the whole housing?

    thanks in advance

Start by looking for obviously disconnected cables. If the harness (i assume these are all in 1 assembly) is connected, check your ground connection. This could be part of the main harness, or it could be a metal to metal screw or backing that must contact the chassis but isn't for some reason.
