    I will rebuild a 1972 carb for my GS455 Stage1. ( 7042940 )
The engine in my car is a 70 SF engine with iron stage 1 heads , 9,5:1 compression and a TA288-94H Camshaft. The trans is a TH400, 3:55 gears.

Any tip how to modify this carb to fit the engine ?
What parts do i need to rebuild and what parts do i ned to modify.

The car is for street use only.

That carb should work fine on your combo, yes you could likely optimize it. I would try the carb first with no mods and then make small mods one at a time.
