I spoke with both of them. Neither of them would be able to keep the original rim with the stampings. They do, however, build any size wheel you want which would be great for a driver if you want to fit different tires. But please, don't anyone ask them do build any 22's. I don't think I could bare to see that

NU Chrome really Blows. I've said it before and will say it again. They are freakin criminals. I get so mad when I see the Nu Chrome guy at the car shows. I want to throw his ass in the tank.

There has to be a way to stop those b@sta@rds from screwing more innocent guys looking for a good job.

    Bill,

I would recommend Specialty wheels in Portand OR, they are up to speed on the correct wheel tech for our Buick restorations and they do offer the satin finish spokes for the 70 WG wheel, for an additional cost of about $25 a wheel..

Here is their reproduction WG wheel, with the correct spokes.

Sorry it's taken me so long to update this thread but I just got the wheels back from Stockton wheel. For what it's worth, they're better than the job Nu-Chrome did on them but I'm not completely happy with them. The plating is fine but they only did the front sides. The backsides are rough and they just painted them with a rattle can silver. I'm fixing them up to look better than that (grinding, primer, and wet sanding) but I will still end up with them painted silver on the back. This whole ordeal has been an eye opening experience. And as far as Nu-Chrome goes, they promised to give me $1,000 of my $1,750 back that I paid them to screw up the wheels the first time. Of course, it's been six months or so since they made that promise and they still haven't done it. I am persistant in calling them regularly but I seriously doubt if I'll ever get the money they promised, but I have unlimited long distance calling so I can keep calling them for years if I need to. :( Everyone, take note here. Nu-Chrome will only continue to get away with their poor business practices and crappy workmanship if people continue to take their parts to them, so don't do it and don't recommend them to anyone. Tell everyone you know about their practices in hopes of preventing others from getting ripped off.
