Looking for recommended part. Cap, wires, plugs, rotor (electronic ign.). Just pull them of partsgeek or the like?

    alec296 i need another buick

    Hei distributor? Big cap?
Standard ignition makes decent parts . Can’t really say one part is better then others now that it’s all made in China.

I believe Lectric Limited has a decent selection for cap & rotor. I believe made in the U.S.ofA. I got my Lectric Limited cap today from Todd.

For plugs/wires Rockauto is really hard to beat on prices. Got my NGK plugs there for a buck & some change when they would still ship to me(new local tax deal with my town).

Yep. It’s a normal black cap with brass contacts.

HEI or a Pertronix type? The cap would fit the normal Lectric Limited/Pertronix etc type conversion as far as I know but obviously not HEI.

I will have to pull the cap. check what type it is. It is not HEI for sure, it is not a huge one that those are.

    I use Borg Warner select
If I could find the spark plug wire I would buy them too. Matter of fact my ignition switch is sticking allowing starter to run on. Might have to start new thread to see what # to buy
