Man, my home theater was rockin' out tonight! If you like The Dave Mathews band, run, don't walk, and get the Live in Central Park DVD from Sept. 2003. It is flat out great!

If you have seen these guys live, you know what I am talking about.:TU:

I have a 43" wide-screen, and 600 watts of Onkyo power pushing the Bose speakers (7) and a 150 watt powered 10" sub. It was like being at the concert. Very well shot, and recorded. My fiance' is bouncing of the walls she loves it so much!

Ok, I think you get the point.....:beer

The finale 'Won't Get Fooled Again' is an instrument-smashing virtuoso performance. Well worth watching.

til I smashed it one drunk night.
I smashed it in the classic form

I never liked Dave Matthews much.

But if you like the Clash, you should get Westway to the World

Not even subject for debate of any sort; the all-time best concert DVD: THE BAND LAST WALTZ!

Who showed up for the last concert of THE BAND and performed? Nobody really just:

    Van Morrison
    Bob Dylan
    Eric Clapton
    Neil Young
Neil Diamond (Don't laugh, he really was good)
    Dr. John
    Ringo Star
    Joni Mitchell

This is just a list of those I could remember off the top of my head; there were more I forgot to mention. Oh, and the movie was directed by Martin Scorcesi (I know I probably mispelled it, so no need to remind me)

I got the newly released version for my Dad, we sat down to watch a couple minutes and ended up rivetted for two hours.

My favorite is still Rush's chronicles DVD. The film quality is horrible, but there is something so amazing about watching them play!
I have an older Dave Matthews DVD... it's good too. Is this one better?
I don't have the surround speakers set up, for some reason. I really like plain old stereo for music. Actually, I have been looking into putting together a turntable-based system with all tube amplification lately. I miss my LP's!
