Has anyone used "Redistrip" for their chassis? They dip the whole frame in alkaline mix/solution. My 72 Stage 1 convt. body is almost(?) ready. The locations I have an ad for are mainly in the midwest region. Good or bad results? The price is about $600.00 per frame. I am also going to purchase body mounts. Rubber or poly?? Who sells the best quality kits? Thanks. Upstaged in Michigan.

    be careful

When I started my GS455 project about 9 years ago I worked with a guy that was into Shelby Mustangs. In his opinion, unless you were doing a trailer queen only resto was that it's was a bad idea. He knew of people that had very bad rust problems with components that were dipped, as every time you got the area wet it would re-activate the small amounts of dip soultion that were not washed out. His opinion was to beat blast what you can see and not worry about the rest, especially in a full frame car like ours.

    good luck...

Ditto on the rust issue. I've seen lots of restored cars with rust in jambs and seams. It's too hard to get all the chemicals out. Soon as moisture or humidity hits it again, it starts coroding.
