Hey all, 3 weeks ago I changed my J-3000 engine back to my original engine I swapped out last July with a junkyard rod-knocking engine.
My old engine had a bad lobe on the #5 exhaust valve on my old RV camshaft, my problem that I didn't do was during the last camshaft install I didn't add the ZINC additive to the engine oil to break-in the camshaft.

I refreshed the engine with a new TA Perf. RV-12 camshaft and new lifters and the Zinc additive.

I have about the same setup...sorta. '79 Buick 350 unused crate motor going into my '51 Willys Overland panel truck.
