I've got a friend with an '86 Regal with the stock 307 Olds in it.
He recently found a 455 Buick and was wanting to swap it into his Regal.
What motor mounts would be needed for this swap??

    Thanks

Easiest way to go is TA Performance. (Can someone post the link for him?) They sell a frame pad & mount kit.

A 307 car is a good start - keep the fan shroud, it'll work with the 455. Accessory brackets from any Buick v6 or v8 will work.

Spend a little time doing searches in the Regal forum, everything you need to know is there a couple of times over. :TU:

Easy swap & all sorts of fun! Good luck!

I've got a link for TA, thanks!
Sounds like it's a pretty straight forward swap.

One more tip for you. Buy a brand new set of motor mounts, preferably for a 71 Lesabre. They'll have 2 sets of mounting holes and you can set the engine 1" lower than regular skylark 455 mounts.

anyone have the info on where to locate the mounts? do any holes line up or do i have to drill them myself?
i had electra stamped steel ones welded down but changing bodies(rust) and want to set up better this time as i will be getting a set of jim wiese's stage 1 heads on my motor and will get some big gains in power and need engine secure.

Gotta drill your own I'm afraid. Pay close attention to getting the engine level and centered...
