Hey I started on an 87 Regal 455 swap, i want to keep the ac in the car, but want to remove the computer and all of the wiring with it, my first question is if i need any of the wires on that side?, and the wire from the bat stud on the alternator goes to a relay on the fender, their are 3 other wires going to that relay and 2 go back to the computer, what have you guys done there?. I have the wires from the fusebox/drivers side isolated and am not concerned about where they go. Thanks Jon
Be Careful You can remove the computer with no problem. you can cut out all the xtra wires and leave the ac plug jus make sure you dont cut out blower motor wires or tha vacuum lines for the heater ducts. best thing is to put motor in and connect what you need then cut out after
thanks for the reply and the computer info, i think i can run the heavy wire from the bat stud, over to the solenoid so the battery will charge, i just don't want to burn anything up! Jon
